LEARN MORE ABOUT MELANIE
A pediatric SLP with 15+ years of experience and a very short tolerance for "wait and see."
My approach is hands-on, evidence-based, and built around one belief: when you understand what's actually happening, you stop guessing and start thriving. I work with families across South Florida through my concierge practice, and I offer virtual support for families everywhere.

Hi! I'm Melanie...
I'm a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida International University. I've spent over 15 years working in private practice and major South Florida hospitals — including a Level 4 NICU and pediatric heart center, where I specialize in medically complex infant feeding from day one.
As a mom of three boys, I bring a personal understanding to every family I work with. Motherhood taught me that feeding your child is one of the most emotionally loaded parts of early parenting and that when it's hard, it's really hard. That experience on the other side of the table shaped how I practice.
I know what it feels like to be the parent who's been told everything looks fine when it doesn't feel fine.
I specialize in uncovering the mechanical, neurological, medical, environmental and/or sensory reasons babies and toddlers struggle to eat and identify the root causes that get missed when families are told to "wait and see".
My private practice is a concierge speech and feeding therapy service built around one goal: getting to the root of what's actually happening — not just managing symptoms — so your child can eat safely, comfortably, and confidently, communicate with clarity, and show up fully at every meal and every milestone.
